OCBC Bank in Singapore seeks an experienced Markets Operations professional to ensure cash and securities settlements are processed accurately and on time within market and internal control requirements.

You will monitor settlement activities, liaise with clients and internal teams, and contribute to process improvements, automation, and risk management in a fast-paced, control-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Good knowledge of Treasury products such as securities, derivatives, FX and money markets.
• Understanding of front-to-back trade processing and associated risks and controls.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Execute and monitor cash and securities settlement activities within cut-off times and liquidity constraints.
• Validate settlement details, payment instructions and static data before release.
• Monitor settlement status, investigate exceptions and resolve delays.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, counterparties, custodians and payment operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Escalate potential settlement failures and material exceptions promptly.
• Maintain complete processing records and audit trails and support related activities.
