Job summary

Skillsforce Management Consultancy Pte Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong operations experience to join our client’s team in Singapore. The role focuses on smooth post-trade processing, risk mitigation, and collaboration with trading desks and market participants.

You will handle trade settlements, pre-matching, and break resolution during market cutoffs, with 1–2 years in securities settlements.

Qualifications

Degree in the relevant discipline.
Operations experience in fast paced, deadline driven environments.
Settlements experience preferred—knowledge of equities markets and settlement processes.
Strong client service skills with a focus on risk control.
1–2 years of securities settlements or related finance experience.
Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.
This is a 6 months renewable contract role.

Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of securities transactions.
Maintain operational controls to reduce settlement and operational risks.
Liaise extensively with agent banks, brokers, and counterparties during Japan market hours.
Handle trade settlements.
Pre matching, fail trade management, and break resolution within strict market cut offs.
Prepare reports and support inventory availability for successful cash and securities exchanges.
