Job summary

Shinhan Bank Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Back Office Settlements Specialist to join our Treasury operations. You will handle settlements for derivatives (FX swaps, forwards, IRS, CCS), treasury products, and fixed income securities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will prepare DTCC and other back-office reports, manage MEPS+ and CLS setups, and support Nostro cash management and SWIFT messaging, working with minimal supervision and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Finance or Accountancy required.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Experience in MEPS+ operation, FX/Derivative Settlement and DTCC Reporting.
• Knowledge of Euroclear process and Swift message types.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform settlements of Derivative products including FX Swap, Forward, IRS and CCS.
• Perform settlements of Treasury products such as Money Market, Repo and FX.
• Perform settlements of fixed income products including MAS Bill, US treasury, etc.
• Prepare DTCC report and other back office related report.
• Set up and manage MEPS+, CLS.
• Co-ordinate and provide effective back-office support to Treasure.
• Daily cash management of Nostro Accounts including Euroclear.
• Prepare SWIFT’s outgoing messages, confirmations and payments.
• Monitor and response to incoming messages related treasury and fixed income.
• Ensure all trades and transactions are processed accurately and timely and in compliance with set procedures, controls and guidelines.
