Job summary

CLSA Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced settlement specialist to manage daily clearing and settlement activities for futures, ensuring timely processing and compliance with MAS and SGX requirements. You will coordinate with trading, risk, and operations to maintain accuracy and end-to-end trade flow in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and at least 3 years in the futures industry, with hands-on experience in reconciliation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in futures industry including clearing & settlements, reconciliation, regulatory reporting, and client margin control.
• Familiarity with SGX CW2, ION XTP, and XTP Clearing systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MAS and SGX regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage clearing deadlines and ensure timely processing of trades according to regulatory, client, and company requirements.
• Execute daily settlement activities for futures, including cash settlement, FX delivery, and option exercise/assignment.
• Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash flows; investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain static data in internal systems (client accounts, contracts, fee updates).
• Ensure all settlement activities comply with MAS and SGX regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve settlement processes and reduce operational risk.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to stakeholders and regulators as required.
• Collaborate with trading, risk, compliance and other teams to ensure end-to-end processing.
