Job summary

Shinhan Bank Singapore is seeking a diligent back-office settlements specialist to handle derivative settlements (FX swaps, forwards, IRS, CCS) and treasury product settlements (Money Market, Repo, MAS Bills). You will prepare DTCC reports and support treasury operations daily, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires MEPS+ experience, DTCC reporting, and strong Excel skills; independent work style with excellent teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in business, finance or accounting.
• Experience with MEPS+ operation and DTCC reporting.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of Euroclear and SWIFT message types.

Responsibilities

• Perform settlements of derivatives including FX swaps, forwards, IRS and CCS.
• Settle Treasury products and fixed income such as Money Market, Repo and MAS Bills.
• Prepare DTCC reports and back-office related reports.
• Coordinate and provide effective back-office support to Treasury and manage related settlements.

Job description

• Perform settlements of Derivative products including FX Swap, Forward, IRS and CCS
• Perform settlements of Treasury products such as Money Market, Repo and FX
• Perform settlements of fixed income products including MAS Bill, US treasury, etc.
• Prepare DTCC report and other back office related reports
• Set up and manage MEPS+, CLS
• Co-ordinate and provide effective back-office support to Treasury
• Daily cash management of Nostro Accounts including Euroclear
• Prepare SWIFT’s outgoing messages, confirmations and payments
• Monitor and response to incoming messages related treasury and fixed income
• Ensure all trades and transactions are processed accurately and timely and in compliance with set procedures, controls and guidelines

Requirements

• Experienced in MEPS+ operation, FX/Derivative Settlement and DTCC Reporting
• Diploma/Degree in Business, Finance or Accountancy
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: MS Word and MS Excel
• Knowledge on Euroclear process and Swift message type
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and a team player
