Fabristeel Private Limited seeks a Service Technician to service, maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment across client sites in Singapore. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance of refrigeration, electrical and related equipment, ensuring safe operation and optimal performance.
You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, attend scheduled jobs and emergencies, and support installation and commissioning activities with a service-oriented team.
The Service Technician is responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial kitchen equipment across assigned customer sites.
The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on refrigeration, electrical and related kitchen equipment to restore equipment performance safely and efficiently.
Perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial kitchen equipment at assigned customer sites.
Diagnose refrigeration, electrical, mechanical or equipment-related faults and carry out appropriate corrective actions within technical capability and authority.
Attend scheduled service jobs, emergency calls and assigned site tasks promptly, following instructions from the direct supervisor or service coordinator.
Conduct equipment quality checks and ensure completed work meets appliance standards, customer-site requirements and company service standards.
Maintain assigned tools, service vehicle, work bay and workshop areas in safe, clean and orderly condition, applying good housekeeping practices.
Installations and final connections of commercial kitchen equipment and laundry machines, providing technical expertise and support to the installation team.
Assist the service engineer with the testing and commissioning processes for newly installed equipment, ensuring functionality and adherence to specifications.
High School education required.
2 years and above of field experience required.
Hands-on experience in installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of commercial kitchen equipment.
Basic diagnostic knowledge of electrical, refrigeration and mechanical systems.
Ability to read simple technical manuals, wiring diagrams, service checklists and equipment specifications.
Able to use standard tools and testing instruments safely.
Knowledge of safe work practices and customer-site requirements.
Able to identify required spare parts and provide clear technical findings.
Able to complete service reports and job documentation in basic written English.
Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence is preferred.
