Job summary

GAN TECK KAR INVESTMENTS PTE LTD is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to perform preventative maintenance on coffee equipment, diagnose issues, and handle on-site installation, relocation and removal of assets. You will inspect sites for new installations, provide customer training on machine usage, calibrate grinders, and observe SOPs.

A national NITECT in ME/EE with 1 year of relevant experience is required; a Class 2B/3 driving license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum National ITE Certificate (Nitec) in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or relevant.
• Minimum one year of relevant working experience handling installation and maintenance of F&B equipment
• Physically fit to manage bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces

Responsibilities

• Perform coffee equipment's preventative maintenance
• Diagnose equipment problems and recommend solutions to resolve
• Handle delivery, installation, relocation, and removal of equipment and accessories
• Include all connection fittings required on-site for company assets
• Site inspection for new installation & additional requirements
• Perform scheduled standby duty to handle service calls/messages from the service phone or Tech supervisor after office hours
• Observe and comply with the Company's SOPs
• Report active schedule to Tech Supervisor/Admin
• Provide training to customers on machine usage and maintenance
• Calibration for Manual/Auto Coffee Grinder
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager

Job Requirement

• Possess Singapore Class 2B or/and 3 driving license is preferred
• Ability to understand equipment drawings and diagrams
• Physically fit to manage bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces
• Basic computer knowledge to work with Microsoft Excel, Word, and handheld devices during operation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• A meticulous, honest, organized, and fast learner
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet tight deadlines to achieve the required targets
