Job summary

Pure Water Dispenser, a Singapore-based specialist in pipe-in water dispensers, is seeking Service Technicians to maintain and install equipment at customer premises across Singapore. The role is hands-on, with emphasis on reliability and customer service, and favors candidates with a strong mechanical background.

You will work on-site at client locations, travel between sites, and follow safety standards while supporting service process improvements.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of plumbing or water filtration systems.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and work orders in English.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, work independently or in a team.
• Physical ability to independently handle equipment and travel to multiple sites within Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Prepare necessary tools and equipment for maintenance or installation.
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective works for water filtration systems at customer premises.
• Install new equipment at customer sites.
• Relocate and reinstall customers' equipment as instructed.
• Keep proper records of services and obtain client acknowledgement.
• Follow safety standards and manage tools and spare parts.
• Support continuous improvement of service processes.

Role Description

In order to meet with our expansion needs, we are looking for skilled individuals to serve as Service Technicians. Service Technicians form an important part of our company, ensuring that our products are well maintained in our customers' premises and continue to serve them well. They form the frontline of the company, being in frequent contact with our clients and their maintenance teams. The position of Service Technician is a hands-on role and candidates with strong mechanical background would be favourably considered.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare necessary tools and equipment for maintenance or installation
• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective works for the water filtration systems at our customer's premise
• Perform new installations of the required equipment
• Relocate and reinstall customers' equipment as instructed
• Keep proper records of all services done and obtain client acknowledgement accurately
• Ad-hoc and other works as assigned by superiors
• The technician is expected to follow safety standards, manage tools and spare parts effectively, and support continuous improvement of service processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Qualities

• Basic knowledge of plumbing or water filtration systems and safe work practices
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, service procedures, and work orders in English
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physical ability to independantly handle equipment, perform installation work, and travel to multiple sites within Singapore
• Solid Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and maintain professional client relationships.
• Experience in plumbing and electrical works is a bonus.
