Job summary

Beth is a neighbourhood kitchen seeking a friendly Service Crew member to welcome guests and ensure they feel at home. You’ll learn our menu, explain dishes, and help keep the dining area welcoming and well‑run.

From taking orders and serving drinks to managing reservations and assisting with drinks preparation, you’ll work closely with the kitchen and bar teams. A curious, team‑oriented attitude and a willingness to learn are essential as you grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, look after their needs, and ensure they feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout their visit.
• Learn our menu, understand ingredients and flavours, and confidently explain and recommend food to guests.
• Take orders, serve food and drinks, clear tables, maintain cleanliness, and keep the space running smoothly.
• Manage reservations, respond to enquiries, and communicate clearly with guests and the team.
• Help prepare and serve coffee, matcha, and other drinks when needed. Training offered.

What you’ll be doing

• Guest experience & hospitality: Welcome guests, look after their needs, and make sure they feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout their visit.

• Food & menu knowledge: Learn our menu, understand the ingredients and flavours behind our dishes, and confidently explain and recommend food to guests.

• Daily service: Take orders, serve food and drinks, clear tables, maintain cleanliness, and keep the space running smoothly.

• Reservations & communication: Manage reservations, respond to enquiries, and communicate clearly with guests and the team.

• Drinks preparation: Help prepare and serve coffee, matcha, and other drinks when needed. We’re happy to teach you and help you build your skills.

• Teamwork: Work closely with the kitchen and service team, support one another during busy periods, and contribute to a positive working environment.

• Food culture: Be curious about food, ingredients, and the stories behind what we serve. We value people who want to learn, share knowledge, and grow with us.

What we’re looking for

• Someone warm, attentive, responsible, and comfortable interacting with different people.

• A team player who communicates well, takes initiative, and is willing to help wherever needed.

• An interest in food, coffee, drinks, and hospitality.

• Someone who is observant, adaptable, and able to stay organised during busy service.

• A willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow with the team.

• Previous experience in F&B, cafés, or restaurants is preferred, but a good attitude and willingness to learn matter just as much.
