Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation is seeking a Service Engineer in Singapore to support the servicing, maintenance and repair of elevators and escalators. You will report to the Service Engineer and join the service team in delivering high-quality field service.

The role requires a diploma / Higher Nitec in vertical transportation or engineering, a valid CoC, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with good English communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Nitec in vertical transportation, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated basic English proficiency for field communication.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt quickly in a field-service environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair elevators, escalators and related systems following local codes.
• Observe EH&S procedures and participate in safety-focused activities.
• Respond to breakdown maintenance calls at various job sites.
• Support service operations to achieve department targets and quality standards.

About You

You will report to Service Engineer and be part of the service team. You are responsible to provide technical support for servicing, maintaining and repairing of elevators and/ or escalators as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair the elevators, escalators and mechanical-parking systems that includes checking, oiling, greasing, mechanical adjustment, trouble-shooting, testing of safety devices, inspection and parts recommendation and replacement in accordance to local code of practice
• Demonstrate understanding and compliance of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) procedures
• Attend to breakdown maintenance calls at various job sites
• Support Service Operations Team to achieve department objectives on service sales targets and service quality standards

Requirement

• Diploma/ Higher Nitec in Vertical Transportation/ Engineering or relevant disciplines
• A valid CoC Certification
• Min. 2 years of work experience in servicing and maintaining elevators and escalators
• Basic English ProficiencyTeam player, adaptable and agile
