Job summary

Otis Elevator Co. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Technician to deliver safe, reliable, high-quality maintenance and support services as part of a global leader in the industry.

You will service elevators, escalators and related systems, adhere to EH&S standards, respond to breakdowns, and collaborate with Service Operations to meet targets and uphold quality. A Diploma/Nitec in Engineering and relevant experience are required, with CoC a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec in Engineering as a minimum
• Relevant work experience in service and maintenance of elevators/escalators
• CoC in Lift/Escalator Maintenance is a plus
• Team player and willingness to learn on the job

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing of elevators, escalators and mechanical-parking systems per local code
• Demonstrate understanding of EH&S procedures on the job
• Attend to breakdown maintenance calls at various job sites
• Support Service Operations to achieve service sales targets and quality standards
• Familiar with BCA requirements

Role Overview

Otis is seeking Senior Technician to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality maintenance and support services to be part of their team in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing of elevators, escalators and mechanical-parking systems that includes checking, oiling, greasing, mechanical adjustment, troubleshooting, testing of safety devices, inspection and parts recommendation and replacement, in accordance to local code of practice.
• Demonstrate understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) procedures and comply accordingly on the job.
• Attend to breakdown maintenance calls at various job sites.
• Support Service Operations Team to achieve department objectives on service sales targets and service quality standards.
• Familiar with BCA requirement

Requirements

• Diploma, Higher Nitec or Nitec level in Engineering.
• Relevant work experiences on service and maintenance of elevators and escalators.
• Certificate of Competency (CoC) in Lift/Escalator Maintenance (good to have)
• Team player and willing to learn on the job.
