in Singapore is seeking a Service Engineer (Pumps Division) to provide on-site field service, install and maintain pumping equipment, and perform remote troubleshooting for customers in the petrochemical, chemical, plastics, oil and gas sectors. Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics is required; experience with PLCs, electrical instruments, and reading blueprints is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics) is required.
• Experience with electrical instruments, PLCs and variable speed controls preferred.
• Ability to understand blueprints and electrical circuit diagrams.
• Open to travel and hands-on field work.
• Experience in field service, controls, inverters and industrial machinery.
• Fluent in Chinese to converse with Chinese-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Ambassador of the company with customer-facing responsibilities.
• Conduct service calls including installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and field service support.
• Prepare field service reports and follow up with spare part quotes.
• Serve as contact for spare parts inquiries, retrofits, and upgrades.

Position: Service Engineer ( Pumps Division)

Urgent Hiring

Responsibilities:

• Ambassador of the company and enjoy customer facing and interaction
• Service contact and remote troubleshooting
• Contact window for spare part inquiries and retrofits and upgrades for customer
• Field service activities associated with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machine equipment
• Prepare field service reports and follow up with spare part quotes
• Comfortable in handling lab(R&D) scale to production machines
• Industry : Petrochemical, Chemical, Plastics, Oil and Gas

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics)
• Experience with electrical instruments, PLCs & variable speed controls preferred
• Capability to understand blueprints and electrical circuit diagrams
• Open to travel, enjoy hands on work
• Shows initiative and can work independently
• Experience in field service preferred in controls, inverters, industrial machinery
• Fluent in the Chinese language as will need to converse with chinese-speaking customers
