Job summary

DKSH Group is seeking a Service Engineer to deliver technical support, installation, and after-sales services for advanced automation equipment. The role emphasizes building customer relationships and driving service excellence across our Technology Solutions portfolio.

You will conduct on-site installations, deliver training, and provide ongoing technical support to ensure equipment performance in the field. International travel on short notice is expected as part of customer support.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics required.
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar field, preferably in Semiconductor/SMT.
• Willingness to travel overseas on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Support service sales and build pipeline with sales and account teams.
• Conduct on-site installation and commissioning of automation equipment.
• Deliver training on operation, setup, and maintenance of equipment.
• Provide after-sales technical support to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct product testing to validate performance and functionality.
• Build strong relationships with customers and position DKSH as a trusted provider.
• Provide regular project progress updates to the reporting manager.
• Handle administrative and coordination tasks as required.

About the Role

The Service Engineer is responsible for delivering technical support, installation, and after-sales services for advanced automation and precision equipment within DKSH's Technology business. This role is integral to building strong customer relationships and driving service excellence across DKSH's growing solutions portfolio.

What You Will Deliver

• Support the achievement of service sales and solutions targets by identifying and developing new opportunities, working closely with sales and service leaders and account teams to continuously grow the prospect and opportunity pipeline
• Conduct on-site installation and commissioning of automation equipment at customer sites
• Deliver training to customers on the operation, setup, and maintenance of equipment
• Provide after-sales technical support and service activities to ensure optimal equipment performance in the field
• Conduct product application testing for customers to validate performance and functionality
• Develop and build strong relationships with customers, positioning DKSH as a trusted and reliable solutions provider
• Provide regular project progress updates to the reporting manager
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Mechatronics
• 3 to 5 years of working experience in a similar field, preferably within the Semiconductor or Surface Mount Technology (SMT) industry
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following equipment types:
  • Laser Welders
  • Laser Marking Systems
  • Ultraviolet (UV) Curing Equipment
  • X-ray Systems
• Familiarity and working knowledge of at least one of the following:
  • Vacuum Plasma Systems
  • Atmospheric Plasma Systems
  • VJE Rework Systems
• Willingness and ability to travel overseas on short notice
• Ability to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Good communication skills
