Job summary

SWATOW RESTAURANT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a friendly Waitress cum Cashier to join our Chinese restaurant. You will take orders, serve meals, handle payments at the front counter, and help ensure a smooth dining experience.

Requirements include prior F&B or customer service experience, basic cashiering knowledge, good English and Mandarin, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Training provided and a supportive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in F&B or customer service is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cashiering and handling POS systems.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Waitress duties: Greet and seat customers, present menus, take orders, serve food and drinks, maintain a clean dining area.
• Cashier duties: Handle payments using POS, issue receipts, balance the cash register, manage records, take take-away and delivery orders, handle phone calls and reservations.

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and service-oriented Waitress cum Cashier to join our team at our Chinese restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and managing cash and payment transactions at the front counter.

Key Responsibilities:

Waitress Duties:

• Greet and seat customers in a warm and welcoming manner
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
• Ensure tables are clean and properly set before and after service
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide recommendations
• Maintain a clean and orderly dining area

Cashier Duties:

• Handle all payment transactions using the POS system
• Issue receipts and return change to customers accurately
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
• Maintain records of transactions
• Handle take-away and delivery orders
• Answer phone calls and manage reservations when required

Requirements:

• Prior experience in F&B or customer service is preferred
• Basic knowledge of cashiering and handling POS systems
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible, punctual, and well-groomed
