Job summary

Makita Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a hands-on Service Supervisor to lead and support our repair technicians within the Service Centre. You will work with the Service Manager to oversee daily workshop operations, ensure repair quality, and drive KPIs.

The ideal candidate has strong repair and troubleshooting experience and prior leadership or supervisory exposure in a workshop environment. Onsite work in Singapore is required, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant certification in Engineering or related technical field.
• At least 3 years hands-on repair or maintenance experience, including supervising technicians.
• Strong repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience on tools, equipment, or machinery.
• Experience training and guiding technicians.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Able to work onsite in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily repair activities.
• Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to technicians.
• Support achievement of Service Centre KPIs and improve repair performance.
• Coach and develop technicians to improve repair skills.
• Monitor repair quality, productivity, and progress.
• Troubleshoot and support technicians with complex repair cases.
• Identify opportunities to improve repair efficiency, quality, and turnaround time.
• Ensure proper repair procedures and workshop standards are followed.
• Coordinate with Sales, other departments, and customers to resolve service issues.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workshop.
