Job summary

ACE ZETA PTE. LTD. is seeking a technician to perform installation, replacement, configuration, troubleshooting, and day-to-day maintenance of server and network hardware on client sites in Singapore.

You will diagnose complex issues, implement preventive maintenance plans, and provide on-site emergency support to meet SLA requirements, while documenting tickets and SOPs in both internal and customer systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Strong sense of responsibility and timely reporting.
• Rapid learning and adaptability to new technologies.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving.
• Proficient in Chinese and English for customer and team communication.
• Basic server, networking, and IT hardware knowledge; hands-on experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain server and network hardware.

【Job Responsibility】

• 1. Operations & Maintenance
  • ①Responsible for the installation, replacement, configuration, troubleshooting, and day-to-day maintenance of server and network hardware, as well as the proper management and secure storage of recovered spare parts.
  • ②Diagnose and resolve complex server and network hardware issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • ③Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and provide on-site emergency support to ensure system stability and compliance with customer SLA requirements.
  • ④Maintain detailed documentation of service tickets, repair records, parts replacement information, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring timely updates in both internal and customer systems in accordance with requirements.
• 2. Deployment & Implementation
  • ①Perform installation, rack/unrack, relocation, reconfiguration, commissioning, upgrade, and routine inspection of server and network equipmentas required.
  • ②Manage structured cabling (fiber, copper, power cables) to ensure neat and standard-compliant layoutas required.
  • ③Organize, prepare, and maintain relevant project documentation as required, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of project deliverables.

【Job Requirements】

• ①Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related disciplines.
• ②Strong sense of responsibility, with the ability to respond to work requirements promptly and efficiently, and provide timely communication and reporting.
• ③Strong learning and communication skills, with the ability and willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, equipment, and operating procedures.
• ④Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to safety regulations and standard operating procedures, as well as a strong awareness of safety, compliance, and customer service.
• ⑤Good command of both Chinese and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members in a work environment.
• ⑥Basic knowledge of servers, networking, and IT hardware. Hands-on experience in server/network hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting will be an advantage.
