Job summary

YTM TOAPAYOH PTE. LTD. is hiring a Service Crew / Cashier at the Toa Payoh hawker center.

You will manage cashiering and POS operations, handle cash and digital payments, and ensure accurate end-of-day settlements. Expect duties across sales, customer service, and basic dessert prep in a warm dining environment. Applicants should have prior cashiering or F&B experience, strong communication, and a proactive approach to upselling.

Qualifications

• Prior cashiering, retail or F&B service experience preferred; eager learners welcome.
• Proficient with POS systems and digital payment terminals; good numerical accuracy.

Job Title: Service Crew / Cashier

Job Responsibilities

• Cashiering & POS Operations: Handle daily POS operations, process customer transactions via cash and digital payments accurately, and perform end-of-day shift closing and drawer reconciliation.
• Sales & Upselling: Proactively greet customers, introduce menu items, recommend add-ons or promotions to drive sales, and package orders neatly for dine-in or takeout.
• Dessert Preparation: Assist in cooking, preparing, and assembling traditional or signature desserts according to standard recipes and quality control guidelines.
• Store Closing Duties: Responsible for smooth shift closing procedures, ensuring all food items are properly stored, equipment is shut down safely, and sales reports are finalized.
• Hygiene & Maintenance: Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the cashier counter, preparation station, and dining area, along with basic equipment care and restocking of consumables.

Requirements

• Prior experience in cashiering, retail, or food and beverage (F&B) service is preferred (enthusiastic candidates with a strong willingness to learn are welcome).
• Proficient in operating POS systems and digital payment terminals, with basic numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic, honest, reliable, and comfortable working flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Excellent communication skills, a warm customer-service attitude, and a proactive approach to sales and upselling.

岗位职责

• 收银与POS系统操作： 负责日常收银机（POS）操作，准确处理顾客的现金及电子支付交易，并完成每日营业结束后的交班结算与现金抽屉核对。
• 销售与增值推荐： 主动招呼顾客，介绍菜单品项,推荐加购商品或促销活动以提升销售额,并为堂食或外带订单整洁打包。
• 甜品制作： 协助按照标准食谱及品质管控要求,烹煮、准备及组装传统或招牌甜品。
• 打烊工作： 负责顺利完成打烊流程,确保所有食材妥善储存、设备安全关闭,并完成销售报表的汇总。
• 卫生与设备维护： 维持收银台、备餐区及用餐区的高标准清洁,并做好基本设备保养及消耗品补充工作。

任职要求

• 具备收银、零售或餐饮服务（F&B）相关经验者优先（也欢迎有强烈学习意愿的积极求职者）。
• 熟练操作POS系统及电子支付终端,具备基本的数字运算能力及细心态度。
• 工作态度认真、诚实可靠,能够配合灵活排班，包括周末及公共假期。
• 具备良好的沟通能力、亲切的顾客服务态度,以及积极主动的销售与推荐意识。

Starting Salary package will be $2700 - $3000

Working hours will be 10am - 8pm, 6 days work week

After 3 months probation will have salary adjustment
