Job summary

Nestlé R&D Singapore is seeking a Sensory Specialist on a 6-month contract in Jurong. You will develop final sensory reports to support product and technology development and enable autonomous panel leadership within the team.

We value academic background in food science and 5–10 years in sensory, preferably FMCG, plus experience with dedicated sensory software such as XLStat or EyeQuestion. A broader operations or business perspective is a plus.

Qualifications

• Academic background in food science / food technology.
• 5-10 years of experience in sensory, preferably in FMCG from R&D side.
• A broader experience in operations or business side is a plus.
• Computer skills on dedicated sensory software and statistical tools (XLStat, EyeQuestion).

Responsibilities

• Provide sensory support and expertise to innovation/renovation projects and technical acceptance release products.
• Actively provide insights to Site and Category sensory teams in identifying the appropriate Sensory Evaluation methodologies.
• Develop the Sensory Team to its evolved role and assess capability of current sensory panel leads.
• Manage sensory panels and provide timely feedback for improvements.
