Job summary

Talent Recruitment Pte Ltd is seeking a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) and Fire Safety Manager to lead safety and fire protection programs at our Singapore site. The role reports to management and requires MOM registration with an FSM certification.

The position offers a stable salary package and a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend hours for training and drills. You will coordinate audits, maintain documentation and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Qualifications

• Must be MOM-registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO).
• SCDF-approved Fire Safety Manager (FSM) course completed and registered with SCDF.
• 2–3 years of safety experience in construction, manufacturing, marine, logistics or oil & gas.
• Familiar with Singapore WSH legislation and ISO 45001.
• Strong communication, training, documentation and auditing skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the appointed WSHO and FSM, ensuring compliance with Singapore WSH, fire safety and EHS regulations.
• Manage the CERT and oversee emergency preparedness, response plans and fire safety requirements.
• Develop, review and implement risk assessments, safe work procedures, method statements and PTW systems.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, training, emergency drills and incident investigations.
• Monitor EHS compliance, maintain safety documentation and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Advise management and site personnel on workplace safety, fire safety and environmental matters.
• Liaise with MOM, SCDF and other authorities on regulatory compliance, reporting, licensing and certification.
• Coordinate ISO 45001:2018 and bizSAFE audits, drive continuous safety management improvements.
• Prepare monthly EHS reports and perform other duties as assigned by Management.
