Job summary

NEA National Environment Agency is seeking an Executive Manager in the WSH Audit & Compliance Branch to plan and execute the organisation’s WSH assurance programme. The role drives independent Line 2 oversight, strengthens Line 1 capability, and leverages technology and data to improve WSH performance.

You will analyse audit outcomes, identify systemic risks, and present insights with recommendations to Senior Management, including developing a real-time WSH dashboard for key metrics.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Singapore WSH Act, subsidiary legislations and codes of practice.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in WSH management, audit or assurance.
• Experience planning or conducting WSH audits and assurance activities.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement or project management is an advantage.
• Registered WSH Officer (WSHO) or ISO 45001 Auditor/Lead Auditor is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent writing, communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Self-driven with continuous improvement mindset and interest in technology to enhance WSH performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the organisation's Line 2 WSH assurance programme by conducting audits and inspections.
• Strengthen governance and capability by guiding Line 1 in audits and interventions.
• Provide strategic oversight by analysing outcomes and presenting recommendations to Senior Management.
• Develop, implement and review WSH manuals and procedures, and provide advisory governance support.
• Drive innovation and digital transformation by adopting WSH technologies and pilots.
• Manage strategic partnerships with external consultants and internal stakeholders.
