Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced Workday Techno-Functional Consultant with 10+ years of Workday experience across design, configuration, integration, and support. You will independently manage end-to-end delivery from requirements to deployment, collaborating with HR/Finance and technical teams to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions.

The role requires strong SME knowledge in HCM/Financials, expertise in Workday integration tools, and proficiency in reporting.

Qualifications

• Deep functional expertise in Workday modules: Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, Payroll, or Financials.
• Hands-on experience with Workday integration tools: Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and API.
• Proficiency with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Custom Reports and RaaS.
• Strong understanding of Workday security model and access controls.
• Experience with Workday BP configuration, workflow design, and XML/XSLT.
• Excellent client-facing communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Design, configure, and maintain Workday business processes, security groups, organizations, and calculated fields.
• Design and develop Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, and API.
• Build and maintain Workday reports using Report Writer, Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, and RaaS.
• Translate functional specs into technical design documents and configuration workbooks.
• Perform end-to-end testing: unit, integration, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Support Workday releases, assess impact, regression test, and communicate changes.
• Prepare documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer assets.
• Provide L2/L3 production support and ensure SLAs.
• Participate in client status calls, steering committee updates, and governance.
