AlwaysHired Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Welding Engineer / Welding Specialist to oversee welding engineering processes within its manufacturing and repair operations.

The role requires 8+ years of relevant industrial welding experience, NADCAP familiarity, and knowledge of AWS D17.1 standards. You will drive continuous improvement, develop weld procedures, and lead audits to ensure top quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant industrial welding experience.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, standards and engineering practices.
• Experience in NADCAP compliance and audit requirements.
• Familiarity with AWS D17.1 standards and welding process qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide technical expertise in welding engineering processes, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and quality requirements.
• Develop, review and optimise welding procedures, process parameters and repair methods to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
• Establish and maintain welding process qualifications, including welder certification and process validation.
• Provide technical guidance and engineering solutions to resolve complex welding and manufacturing challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, product quality and operational performance.
• Develop and implement welding jigs, fixtures and tooling to support manufacturing operations.
• Oversee welding process compliance and support NADCAP audits, technical assessments and quality reviews.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and ensure consistent product quality.
• Review technical specifications, engineering drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
