Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a senior Middleware Administrator to install, configure, and manage Oracle WebLogic and related middleware across multiple environments, including 24x7 support. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure high availability and smooth deployments across development, test, UAT, and production landscapes.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on middleware experience, plus certifications in Oracle WebLogic or Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 6+ years hands-on middleware administration experience.
• Certifications in Oracle WebLogic, middleware technologies, Linux, or cloud platforms preferred.
• Experience in large-scale enterprise managed services environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, upgrade, patch, and troubleshoot Oracle WebLogic and other middleware.
• Manage middleware environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production.
• Perform capacity management, performance tuning, and health checks.
• Support application deployment, release activities, and environment migrations.
• Analyze and resolve middleware incidents, service requests, and problem tickets.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve platform stability.
• Design and implement middleware architecture, high-availability, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop as-is and to-be architecture assessments and deployment models for application and middleware environments.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, network, and security teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
