Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Middleware Engineer to build and support enterprise middleware platforms in a fast-paced environment.

You will co-ordinate with infrastructure teams, drive low-level design for middleware, manage deployments, automate monitoring, and ensure disaster recovery readiness across environments, including UAT and Production. The role requires strong experience with IBM MQ, WebLogic, JBoss, Unix/Linux, and scripting in Python or Groovy to automate

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in building and supporting middleware platforms.
• Strong expertise in IBM MQ, WebLogic and JBoss.
• Good working experience of Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience in deployment automation using Python, Groovy, Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of system backup/restore, disaster recovery and load balancing.
• Experience with vendor product installation, configuration and technical documentation.
• Ability to create and maintain technical architecture, server and network diagrams.
• Experience with middleware deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of Oracle and MS SQL Server databases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and simulate disaster recovery for the managed applications.
• Manage the releases from UAT to Production.
• Manage deployment / promotion of changes within different stages of SDLC.
• Automate monitoring / enable alert configuration.
• Troubleshoot Control M job failures and assist in re-run as appropriate.
• Ensure proper documentation of processes.
