Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Google; Oracle knowledge and basic MRP knowledge are preferred.
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hands-on and able to handle ad-hoc requests independently.

About the role

Senior Superintendent responsible for supervising and leading a team of delivery crew/shipping officers, and managing delivery operations. The role involves planning and coordination with internal logistic officers and external forwarding service providers to ensure all goods are received in good order, arranging delivery of finished goods to customers according to schedule, and achieving section productivity and quality objectives. The position also encompasses trade compliance responsibilities including ensuring compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies, overseeing classification of goods, licensing, and export/import documentation, and managing permit applications for import/export activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of delivery crew/shipping officers and manage delivery operations

• Plan and coordinate with internal logistic officers and external forwarding service providers to ensure goods are received in good order

• Arrange delivery of finished goods to customers according to schedule

• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies

• Oversee classification of goods, licensing, and export/import documentation

• Manage individual and bulk permit applications for import/export activities, including preparation, submission, and tracking of approvals

• Monitor sanctions, tariffs, and regulatory changes to mitigate compliance risks

• Develop and implement trade compliance policies, procedures, and deliver staff training

• Conduct internal audits and maintain accurate compliance records

• Act as primary liaison with customs agencies and government regulators

About you

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in relevant field
