Job summary

DSV in Singapore is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, allocate manpower, and ensure effective picking aligned with the dashboard.

You will lead safety and housekeeping efforts, provide on-the-job training, collect feedback from ground staff, and coordinate with customers on special handling requests while ensuring equipment and IT assets remain operational for business continuity.

Qualifications

• Forklift license and/or Reach Truck license is advantageous.
• Experience with warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations and allocate manpower.
• Ensure picking is planned per dashboard and productivity monitored.
• Enforce safety protocols and 5S/6S housekeeping.
• Provide on-the-job training and performance feedback.
• Liaise with customers on exceptions and special handling requests.
• Monitor usage and maintenance of MHE and IT assets.

1. Daily operation management

• Oversee warehouse activities to ensure smooth daily warehouse operations.
• Allocate manpower and monitor productivity levels throughout the shift.
• Ensure necessary picking are planned and prepared according to dashboard.

2. Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

• Ensure all safety protocol and WI are followed strictly.
• In charge of 5S/6S for the warehouse.

3. Staff Management

• Provide On-Job-Training, and performance feedback.
• Gather feedback from ground staff while report to executive/ manager.
• Stand in as operators/admin when shorthanded

4. Customer Management

• Liaise with customers on exception and special handling request.

5. Equipment & Asset Management

• Monitor usage and condition of MHE.
• Maintenance and servicing of MHE.
• Ensure all IT assets are in operational condition while taking necessary steps to ensure operational continuity in case of IT equipment downtime.

Requirements
