Job summary

Digital Edge DC is seeking a Senior Vice President of Facility Operations to lead its largest pillar across APAC. You will own uptime, safety, and operational readiness for a 1.8GW hyperscale portfolio, overseeing eight country leaders and continuous-presence operations.

The role reports to the Chief Data Center Operations Officer and shapes the operating model as markets scale. You will direct budgeting, headcount planning, and governance for this high-impact function, while driving audits,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of critical facility or mission-critical infrastructure experience.
• 8+ years in VP-, Senior Director-, or Director-level leadership across multiple countries.
• Experience owning budgets, headcount, and org design for large, continuous-presence operations.
• Deep knowledge of critical facility systems (electrical, UPS, generators, cooling, fire protection, BMS/DCIM).
• Proven hyperscale scaling and SLA/uptime experience with multi-country portfolios.
• Experience with ISO 27001/45001/9001 and PCI DSS audits.
• Fluency in English; comfortable with ambiguity and APAC travel.

Responsibilities

• Own Facility Operations strategy, org design, and budget across eight markets.
• Build and lead the tiered in-country leadership team across eight markets.
• Own country tiering model and align leadership levels with market growth.
• Handover from construction to steady-state operations with proper SOPs and safety protocols.
• Own uptime and shift-coverage performance across every campus.
• Act as escalation point and incident commander for critical incidents.
• Oversee vendor governance and maintenance strategy across markets.
• Drive certification outcomes and audit readiness with Governance teams.
• Lead executive reviews and strategic narratives for hyperscale customers.
• Collaborate with Engineering Ops on PUE and energy targets.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, resilience.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, information security, and environmental policies.
