Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in hyperscale data centres, mission-critical infrastructure or digital infrastructure operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing regional data centre operations across APAC.
• Strong understanding of critical M&E systems including power, cooling, UPS and BMS.
• Experience leading operational readiness, commissioning and transition from construction into live operations.
• Demonstrated success in 24/7 operations with focus on uptime, resilience and SLAs.
• Strong governance, risk management and stakeholder management capabilities.

A leading digital infrastructure provider is seeking a Senior Vice President, Data Centre Operations to lead operations across a growing Asia portfolio. This executive leadership role is responsible for ensuring operational excellence, reliability, customer experience and the safe delivery of mission-critical services across multiple live data centre campuses.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience operating hyperscale or mission-critical facilities, with a proven track record leading regional operations teams, driving uptime performance, and building high-performing operational organisations across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for data centre operations across Singapore and Asia.
• Develop and execute the regional operations strategy aligned with business growth and customer commitments.
• Ensure operational excellence across all facilities, maintaining the highest standards of availability, reliability and resilience.
• Lead site operations teams responsible for critical environment management, maintenance, incident response and service delivery.
• Establish and drive operational governance, policies, procedures and best practices across the portfolio.
• Oversee operational readiness for new data centre campuses, including commissioning, handover and transition into live operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, automation, sustainability and cost optimisation.
• Lead crisis management, incident investigations and root cause analysis for critical events.
• Manage operational budgets, resource planning and performance across multiple countries.
• Build strong relationships with hyperscale customers, internal stakeholders, vendors and service partners.

Requirements

• 18+ years of experience within hyperscale data centres, mission-critical infrastructure or digital infrastructure operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing regional data centre operations across APAC.
• Strong understanding of critical M&E systems including power, cooling, UPS, generators and building management systems.
• Experience leading operational readiness, commissioning and transition from construction into live operations.
• Demonstrated success managing 24/7 operations with a focus on uptime, resilience and customer SLAs.
• Strong experience in incident management, risk management and operational governance.
• Excellent commercial, stakeholder management and people leadership capabilities.
• Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers or large colocation customers is highly desirable.
• Degree in Engineering, Building Services or a related technical discipline.
• Professional certifications within mission-critical operations or engineering are advantageous.
