CAPITAL HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior VAL Operator (Supervisor) to join the East Region operations team on a full-time basis.

You will coordinate and oversee warehousing, storage and distribution activities, optimise supply chain processes, manage inventory flow, and maintain seamless communication with internal teams and external stakeholders. This role requires leadership to guide staff, ensure compliance, and deliver high service standards.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination or related supply chain roles.
• Proven expertise in warehousing operations, inventory management and distribution processes.
• Strong proficiency with WMS and logistics software platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversee department operations and ensure efficient warehousing, storage and distribution.
• Coordinate orders, delivery timelines, inventory integrity, and documentation.
• Train and develop staff to ensure compliance and quality output.
• Prepare KPIs and report progress to management.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders; manage day-to-day operations, safety and quality issues.
• Assign tasks, schedule staff, and manage logistics administration and documentation.
• Perform other duties as instructed by supervisor.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior VAL Operator (Supervisor) to join our client's operations team in the East Region on a full-time basis . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing logistics operations, ensuring efficient warehousing, storage and distribution activities. The Senior Logistics Coordinator plays a strategic role in optimising supply chain processes, managing inventory flow, and maintaining seamless communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. This position is essential to ensuring that our client's distribution network operates at peak efficiency whilst maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for overseeing the department's operations
• Business requirements from order fulfilment, delivery timelines, inventory integrity, record and documentations
• Training and development of staffs ensuring job compliance, discipline and quality work output from staff
• Preparation of management KPIs for timely reporting and management review
• Meetings with customers
• Handle day to day operational, safety and quality issues
• Assign tasks to staff and scheduling
• Overall management of the logistics administration and documentation
• Any other assigned duties in the warehouse as instructed by superior

Specific Accountabilities

• Hands-on experience in storekeeping will be an added advantage

• Able to perform work with minimal supervision

What we're looking for

• 3 -5 years of experience in logistics coordination, warehouse management or related supply chain roles
• Proven expertise in warehousing operations, inventory management and distribution processes
• Strong proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software platforms
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to prioritise competing demands
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and supervise team members effectively
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, reporting and process optimisation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of logistics best practices, supply chain management principles and industry standards
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
