Job summary

GovTech Singapore is seeking a senior UX designer to lead end-to-end design for weather products, translating complex data into intuitive interfaces for the public and professionals. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in UX or product design shipping high quality digital products.
• Experience designing consumer-facing digital products at scale (web/mobile).
• Ability to translate complex data into clear user experiences.
• Experience creating and contributing to design systems.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills to align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end UX design for weather products (weather.gov.sg, myENV) and other consumer-facing platforms.
• Connect and align user journeys across products to create coherent experiences.
• Translate complex weather data into clear interfaces understandable by the public and stakeholders.
• Plan and conduct discovery research (interviews, usability testing) to inform decisions.
• Shape information architecture and interaction patterns for intuitive use.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system across NEA products.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, forecasters, and policy stakeholders.
• Guide stakeholders through design decisions and advocate for user needs.
• Drive iterative design improvements through rapid testing and feedback cycles.
