Job summary

Micron Singapore is seeking an Ultra Pure Water & Wastewater Treatment Engineer to design, build, and commission UPW and wastewater systems for semiconductor facilities. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, supervise suppliers, and ensure strict environmental and safety standards are met.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering and at least 6 years in UPW/wastewater, including 3+ years in semiconductor/high-tech settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in UPW and wastewater systems; at least 3 years in a wastewater role within semiconductor/high-tech construction.
• Proficiency in water treatment design software and tools.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor water quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering of UPW and wastewater systems for semiconductor facilities.
• Oversee installation, construction, and commissioning to meet timelines and quality standards.
• Establish performance metrics and monitor system operation post-commissioning.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and environmental standards across projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and lead a team of contractors.
