Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is seeking a Facilities UPW/WW Engineer to ensure the precise operation and maintenance of Ultra-Pure Water and Wastewater systems, and to manage upgrades and expansions. You will coordinate with contractors and drive CM/PM programs while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a chemical or environmental engineering degree and at least 3 years' experience in UPW/WWTP, plus cleanroom exposure and solid knowledge of water treatment and pumps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or environmental engineering.
• At least 3 years of UPW & WWTP experience.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes for UPW.
• Technical knowledge of pumps and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise day-to-day operations and maintenance of UPW/WWTP and related water systems.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors to implement CM/PM programs.
• Study, plan and implement upgrades, retrofits, system expansion and maintenance.
• Ensure safety compliance and government regulations and PUB discharge limits.
• Initiate, evaluate, plan and supervise water recycling projects to reduce water consumption.
