Job summary

Chubb External in Singapore seeks a Senior Underwriter to evaluate, select, and manage insurance risks across the International Personal Lines portfolio. You will provide technical leadership, support portfolio growth, and ensure underwriting discipline throughout the unit.

You will collaborate with cross-functional and senior leadership teams, contribute to product development and implementation, and build portfolio analyses including P&Ls and trend mapping to drive actionable insights.

Qualifications

• At least 5-8 years of underwriting experience on mass consumer products, preferably in Residential Insurance, Auto Insurance, Mobile Insurance, Cyber Insurance and Extended Warranty.
• Experience with cross-functional and senior leadership teams.
• Experience in Product Development and Implementation.
• Experience in constructing portfolio analysis (P&Ls, trend mapping, performance reviews), evaluating results and providing recommended actions/feedback.
• Solid experience dealing with multiple distribution channels (agents, brokers, direct group, sponsor, and bancassurance partners).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with external and internal stakeholders.

• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Maintain strong understanding of the insurance market and industry trends.
