Job summary

Chubb Singapore is seeking a senior technical underwriter to manage a portfolio of complex Property and Terrorism programmes within the Major Accounts Division, reporting to the Head of Property. The role requires deep technical expertise, sound underwriting judgment, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

You will underwrite, price and govern multinational and structured programmes, coordinating with risk engineering, claims, brokers and clients to deliver profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Senior technical underwriting with multinational and structured programme experience.
• Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience underwriring Property and Terrorism risks.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Ownership & Technical Underwriting: Lead underwriting and pricing of complex Property and Terrorism risks, including Multinational and structured programmes, ensuring coverage clarity and risk transfer.
• Business Development & Market Engagement: Build long-term relationships with brokers and clients to drive profitable growth and cross-selling opportunities.
• Multinational & Structured Program Management: Structure and execute complex programmes across internal and external stakeholders.
• Governance, Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership & Talent Development: Coach and mentor junior underwriters and foster a high-performing team culture.
