Job summary

Chubb Insurance Singapore Limited is seeking a Senior Underwriter to evaluate, select, and manage insurance risks across international personal lines. You will provide technical leadership, support portfolio growth, and ensure disciplined underwriting aligned with profitability targets.

Responsibilities include portfolio analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders, and maintaining deep knowledge of the insurance market to drive performance across distribution

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of underwriting experience on mass consumer products.
• Experience with cross-functional and senior leadership teams.
• Experience in Product Development and Implementation.
• Experience in portfolio analysis (P&L’s, trend mapping, performance reviews).
• Solid experience with multiple distribution channels (agents, brokers, direct group, sponsor, bancassurance).
• Effective communication & interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good understanding and working knowledge of the insurance market.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select, and manage insurance risks in line with guidelines and profitability targets.
• Provide technical leadership and support portfolio growth.
• Ensure underwriting discipline across the International Personal Lines portfolio.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
