Job summary

Chubb Singapore is seeking a senior technical underwriter to lead complex Property and Terrorism programmes for multinational and structured accounts. You will drive profitability, structure bespoke wordings, and guide brokers and clients through high-level negotiations.

Reporting to the Head of Property, you will manage portfolio risk, engage senior stakeholders, and contribute to strategic growth of Chubb's Singapore Property book.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of Property underwriting experience in Major Accounts, Large Corporate or Structured Programs.
• Strong expertise in Property and Terrorism underwriting and high-value programmes.
• Ability to analyse and negotiate manuscript policy wordings and endorsements.
• Knowledge of catastrophe underwriting principles, modelling and accumulation management.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders including global brokers and multinational clients.
• Understanding of multinational programme structures, master and local policy frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting and pricing of complex Property and Terrorism risks, including Multinational and structured programmes.
• Review policy wordings and bespoke programme structures for clear coverage and risk transfer.
• Engage brokers and clients; represent Chubb at market events and meetings.
• Coordinate with Risk Engineering, Claims, and network office for execution of programmes.
• Ensure governance, compliance and risk management within delegated authority.
• Mentor junior underwriters and foster a high-performing team culture.
