Job summary

Chubb Singapore is seeking a senior technical underwriter to lead the underwriting and pricing of complex Property and Terrorism programmes within the Major Accounts Division, driving growth with rigorous portfolio management.

Reporting to the Head of Property, the successful candidate will manage multinational and structured programmes, influence senior stakeholders, and foster technical excellence across distribution channels.

Qualifications

• Portfolio Ownership & Technical Underwriting: Lead underwriting and pricing of complex Property and Terrorism risks.
• Business Development & Market Engagement: Build relationships with brokers, clients and partners.
• Multinational & Structured Program Management: Structure and execute multinational programmes with internal stakeholders.
• Governance, Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and audit standards.
• Leadership & Talent Development: mentor junior underwriters and foster high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Ownership & Technical Underwriting: Lead underwriting and pricing of complex Property and Terrorism risks, including multinational and structured programmes, balancing growth and retention objectives with portfolio profitability within delegated authority.
• Business Development & Market Engagement: Drive profitable new business growth and cross-selling opportunities by building trusted, long-term relationships with brokers, clients and market partners.
• Multinational & Structured Program Management: Lead the structuring and execution of complex multinational programmes, coordinating across internal stakeholders and global networks.
• Governance, Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain compliance with underwriting guidelines, regulatory requirements and audit standards.
• Leadership & Talent Development: Act as a technical role model, coaching junior underwriters.
