Chubb Singapore is seeking a Senior Underwriter in the Major Accounts Division to manage underwriting for Property and Terrorism across all channels. You will work to grow the portfolio, renew profitable accounts, and help achieve financial goals within the MAD and P&C framework.

You will lead internal and external engagements with brokers and clients, develop multi-line knowledge, and mentor junior staff while ensuring underwriting standards are maintained and data is accurate for timely

Responsabilités

• Responsible for underwriting of insurance products and growing the portfolio of the Property and Terrorism business
• Maintain profitable renewal accounts and assist in achieving financial plans and strategies for profitable growth
• Drive new business through prospecting, broker engagement, cross-selling and strategic initiatives
• Develop a cross-product team culture and instill can-do attitude across the MAD team
• Lead the MAD Value Proposition in external engagements with broker partners and clients
• Maintain relationships with brokers and producers to obtain underwriting information and encourage submissions
• Engage key clients in stewardship meetings, roadshows and events
• Broaden knowledge from Property to all Chubb solutions to maximize value for partners and clients
• Secure additional information and analyze data to determine risk acceptability under underwriting standards
• Review endorsements on policies and assist in submissions for higher review
• Ensure data accuracy in systems, uphold rates adequacy and underwriting philosophy
• Coordinate with support teams for quotations, policies, endorsements and renewals
• Mentor Underwriters and Assistants across the MAD team
• Perform ad hoc projects and related duties as assigned
