Job summary

Selby Jennings in Singapore is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients, ensuring meticulous trust administration and strict regulatory compliance. You will act as the main liaison for clients and external advisors, driving high-quality service and strong relationships.

In this role, you will coordinate onboarding, AML/KYC checks, and periodic reviews with internal teams, while guiding complex trust structures and ongoing planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in trust administration or private wealth management.
• Strong understanding of trust structures and Singapore regulations.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships independently.
• STEP qualification or working towards it preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client relationships, including families, entrepreneurs and private clients
• Oversee the administration of trust structures, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, intermediaries, and advisors (lawyers, bankers, tax professionals)
• Review trust documentation, distributions, and ongoing structuring requirements
• Work closely with internal teams on onboarding, AML/KYC, and periodic reviews
• Support business development efforts by maintaining strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in trust administration, fiduciary services, or private wealth
• Strong understanding of trust structures, governance, and Singapore regulatory requirements
• Proven experience managing client relationships independently
• STEP qualification (or working towards) is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
