DHL Supply Chain Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced transport leader to drive performance and strategy for the Singapore transport function.

You will lead planning, fleet operations, and customer relations, delivering on time, within budget and with high quality. The role requires a senior leader with deep knowledge of Singapore logistics, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record in transforming transport operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics or Engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years in an operational role with P&L responsibilities.
• Proven track record delivering against targets.
• Knowledge of Singapore logistics market, especially transport.
• Senior leader with in-house and sub-contracted transport ops experience.
• Experience in transport & network optimization and warehouse processes.
• Proficient in TMS.
• Business development track record with large multinationals.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation skills.
• Excellent project management skills (DePICT).
• Experience managing complex change-management programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the transport team, ensuring high performance and meeting KPI and service delivery levels, driving overall Singapore Transport agenda in line with Cluster & Regional strategy.
• Oversee planning, execution and smooth running of transport fleet operations, ensure all requirements are delivered to target including time, costs and quality.
• Grow transport business and implement projects on time and within budget.
• Design and cost transport solutions.
• Drive operational improvements using Lean, Gemba and other methodologies.
• Build a world-class Transport Control Tower and lead the team.
• Collaborate with SEA Transport organizations for optimization.
• Own full P&L for Transport business.
• Deliver transformational growth and win new customers.
• Manage customer relations and ensure satisfaction.
• Manage supplier/assets and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with H&S, security, quality and environmental policies.
• Develop team through coaching, performance and succession planning.
