Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore seeks an EXECUTIVE/ ENGINEER, TRAFFIC & STREET LIGHTING to lead the development, operation and maintenance of Traffic & Street Lighting projects. You will plan, tender, design review, install and maintain street lighting, while coordinating with the public and agencies.

You will collaborate across teams, manage performance specifications, and ensure safety and efficiency of the road network for commuters.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the area of project management for maintenance related works.
• Good writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Possess initiative and resourcefulness as well as keen interest in problem-solving.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Have strong sense of responsibility and strong analytical mind.
• Preferably with valid Class 3 driving licence as there will be site visits.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate and maintain management of Traffic & Street Lighting (T&SL) projects and maintenance to improve safety and efficiency of the road network.
• Involve in the Street Lighting system including feasibility studies, project planning, tender and design review, installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance and documentation.
• Manage feedback from the public, other government agencies and private developers.
• Collaborate with internal and external parties and establish engineering requirements and performance specifications.
