Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore seeks a skilled engineer to drive ITS projects for pedestrian safety at signalised crossings. You will oversee budgeting, contractor management, and maintenance programmes, ensuring timely, on-spec deliveries while analysing data to support policy decisions and operations.

Night-shift and on-site responsiveness are required. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders to align on technical requirements and ongoing programme evaluation,

Qualifications

• Engineering background in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years in systems engineering, project management, or maintenance management in transport-related fields.
• Strong analytical mindset to translate data into actionable insights for operations and policy.
• Interest in operations/maintenance environments with problem-solving focus.
• Resourceful and self-driven; able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to support night works and on-site duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage ITS project with budgeting and contractor management to meet deliverables on time, within budget, and to spec.
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance programmes, including site inspections, fault rectification, and system testing.
• Review fault statistics and KPIs to support road network operations.
• Manage resources, schedules, and contractors to meet standards and drive performance improvements.
• Analyze data to evaluate initiative effectiveness and support policy decisions; engage stakeholders.
