You will work on the Next Generation Traffic Light Control System, designing production-grade software, performing rigorous QA, and preparing for edge-to-cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong programming foundations in C++, Python, and Java.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools.
• Comfortable working in Linux-based environments and using version control.

Responsibilities

• Design and build modular, high-performance software components for production systems using C++ and Python.
• Conduct comprehensive unit and integration testing to ensure reliability for 24/7 operations.
• Architect modules with a cloud-ready mindset for future cloud transitions (containerization, decoupled services).
• Apply security-by-design principles to protect critical national infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-agency teams including policy officers, UX designers, and cybersecurity specialists.
