Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Trade Finance Specialist to manage end-to-end trade finance activities, including LCs, collections and bank guarantees.

You will review supporting documents for accuracy and compliance, prepare applications, and coordinate timely submissions with banks. Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Banking, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' trade finance experience.
• Experience in shipping, commodities trading or bunkering is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of letters of credit, documentary collections, bank guarantees, standby LC.
• Good understanding of AML, sanctions, and banking practices.
• Able to manage multiple transactions with attention to detail and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trade finance activities including LCs, collections, and guarantees.
• Review trade docs for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit trade finance applications and amendments to banks.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate resolutions with stakeholders.
• Monitor facilities, limits, utilisation, maturity dates, and costs.
• Liaise with banks on processing and facility documentation.
• Ensure controls, approvals, and compliance procedures are followed.
• Support cross-functional teams to facilitate trade transactions.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and review docs.
• Assist in enhancing processes, templates, and reporting.
• Handle ad hoc duties as required.
