Job summary

Kulicke and Soffa Industries, Inc. seeks a Senior/Staff Tooling Engineer in Singapore to develop high‑performance tooling solutions for advanced semiconductor assembly and bonding equipment.

You will work across engineering disciplines to meet customer, quality and business requirements while driving tooling improvements. You will own tooling requests, design and qualify tooling, collaborate with teams, and optimize cost, lead time and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end tooling requests to meet business requirements and timelines.
• Design, develop and qualify application tooling to meet customer requirements and optimize performance.
• Define tooling solutions across machine platforms and processes with cross-functional teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in tooling design, manufacturing methods, materials and processes.
• Maintain and improve tooling quality assurance processes to ensure tooling meets quality requirements prior to shipment.
• Collaborate with suppliers to optimize tooling cost, quality and lead time.
• Develop and maintain tooling design guidelines, selection criteria and technical standards.
