Job summary

encora technologies pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Test & Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA across SDLC processes (Waterfall and Agile) and multiple testing phases.

You will manage test scope, risks, and stakeholder expectations, coordinating with Delivery Managers to define test scenarios and ensure on-time release. The role focuses on improving defect detection, enforcing security and quality checkpoints, and driving continuous improvement in testing practices within a multi-platform

Skills:

Senior Test & Quality Assurance Manager:

• Majorly responsible for Test scope management, stakeholder management, time & quality management, cost management and change management
• Manage the quality of the system developed by enforcing quality checkpoints using SDLC (Waterfall & Agile) framework, across multiple testing phases.
• Analyzed data and identified areas for improvement in the quality system, leading to the implementation of corrective actions that resulted in a 30% increase in identifying defects.
• Conduct assessment on the quality of testing carried out by various checks (initiation, health checks, conduct, sign-off, etc).
• Analyzed requirements, process flows, documents (business requirements documents, functional and technical documents) and work closely with the various track Delivery Managers to define test scenarios across all test phases.
• Ensure pre-testing readiness: conduct sanity/smoke testing, production data restoration (if required), test plan, test environment, test data, test IDs, test scenarios, test cases across all test phases
• Enforce expected project deliverables with the vendor team via established & agreed process, compliance enforcement.
• Presented the risks, issues, and various options/mitigations proactively with transparency and seek help from PSC (Project Steering Committee) to make informed decision.
• Coordinate with development team members for the running of batch jobs, perform end-to-end test executions, document test results and log defects where necessary to facilitate UAT.
• Defined Entry/Exit criteria, test metrics, configure test management tools e.g. Jira, HP-QC or other tools and produce test reports across all test phases
• Carried out Defect management across all test phases (SIT, UAT, Performance, Automation, Security, Operational Readiness Test.
• Prepared detailed testing reports with findings and recommendations to the Project & Program managers.

DevSecops, Change & Release Co-ordinator:

• Played a key role in chairing the Change Advisory Board Meeting for issue resolution, across different Test environments.
• Lead the release planning meetings for multiple platforms to improve the release planning process and facilitate process improvement.
• Involved in discussions related to security measures for the CI/CD pipeline to ensure code is scanned and secure at every stage of development.
• Implemented Continuous improvement on the tools used - Tosca, Jira, Confluence to necessitate the set of deliverables and set processes.
• Conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and compliance issues within applications and infrastructure.
• Developing and enforcing security best practices and policies among the development team to promote a culture of security awareness.

Project Management:

• Manage client relationships and engage key stakeholders, both externally and internally.
• Manage testing related risks, issues, and changes, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and successful project completion.
• Build cross-functional teams and assign tasks, monitoring team member performance.
• Utilize project management tools and techniques to ensure objectives are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Establish clear lines of communication between stakeholders and ensure all stakeholders are informed of project status.
• Participated in workshops which focused on using Agile Methodologies, Scrum-led ceremonies.
