Job summary

Nityo Infotech Limited in Singapore is seeking an experienced QA automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, APIs, and backend systems.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD, coordinate with PMs, developers, and business analysts, and ensure compliance with security standards. Proficiency in Python and Selenium is essential, with experience in load testing and AWS testing preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automation test scripts for web applications, APIs, backend systems and other relevant testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and business analysts, to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure early detection of defects and maintain high standards of code quality.
• Identify and document software defects in bug tracking tools such as JIRA and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure testing procedures align with government or local authority security standards, regulations, and compliance guidelines (e.g. ISO).
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) to provide input on test progress, challenges, and risks.
• Utilise tools to perform load and performance testing to ensure the system can handle the expected traffic and usage levels.
• Track and report quality metrics, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and test scripts for internal and external audits.
• Proficient in Python for writing and maintaining test scripts.
• Strong experience with Selenium and other test automation tools (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cypress). Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience in performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket for integrating automated tests.
• Experience in working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to document defects, results, and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. Confidence working in regulated environments with evolving priorities.

Requirements:

• Relevant certifications in QA/Software Testing.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and their impact on testing processes.
• Working experience with testing applications built on or integrated with Salesforce Public Cloud and Lightning components (open to upskilling)
