Job summary

Silicon Labs in Singapore is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and deploy production test solutions for RF/analog/mixed-signal SoCs on in-house and external ATE platforms. You will collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to ensure robust test coverage.

You will lead test program development for NPIs, design load boards and probe cards, optimize test time and yield, and mentor junior engineers while driving data-driven improvements across sites.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of ATE development experience.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor test flows (wafer sort, final test, SLT).
• Proficiency in writing embedded test firmware (e.g., in C/C++) for microcontroller products to support production testing and characterization.
• Experience with ATE platforms with familiarity in systems such as Teradyne UltraFlex, J750, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with RF, analog, and/or mixed-signal measurements.
• Experience in designing test hardware circuits and PCB layout using tools such as Altium or equivalent software.
• Proficient in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
• Demonstrated ability to debug test hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy production test solutions for RF/analog/mixed-signal SoCs on in-house and external ATE platforms.
• Collaborate with design teams to prepare comprehensive test plans for new IP blocks, ensuring alignment with functional requirements and reliability expectations.
• Design test hardware (load boards, probe cards) tailored for manufacturing environments, ensuring reliable performance and high-volume production compatibility.
• Drive test program development, optimization, and release to production for NPI products.
• Lead first silicon bring-up and characterization of new silicon with Design and Product Engineering.
• Improve test time, yield, and coverage through data-driven root cause analysis.
• Support volume ramp and test correlation across sites and packages.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive process and methodology improvements.
