Job summary

Aptiv in Singapore is seeking a Senior / Test Development Engineer to design, develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing test solutions. The role focuses on ICT, BLP, and EOL functional testing and involves leading coverage analyses and driving test improvements with global teams.

You will plan procurement of test equipment, prepare documentation, and provide technical training to Operations Support, contributing to robust production readiness and quality across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics.
• Experience in ICT, Boundary Scan, Functional Testing, and Programming Systems.
• Experience in manufacturing test development for automotive/electronics/high-volume production.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing test solutions, including ICT, Board Level Programming (BLP) and EOL Functional Test.
• Lead test coverage analysis and drive design changes to improve coverage in early design phases.
• Plan and procure test equipment, tooling, and fixtures to support development and production schedules.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and provide technical training to Operations Support.
