Job summary

Aptiv Safety & Mobility Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior / Test Development Engineer to advance test software, hardware, and tools for automotive/electronics programs.

You will design ICT and EOL testing solutions, participate in MSD workshops, and drive test coverage and equipment strategies across global engineering and manufacturing teams. The role requires a strong background in LabVIEW, NI TestStand, C/C++, Python, and Six Sigma, with a Bachelor’s in a related engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field relevant to testing.
• Experience in manufacturing test development for automotive/electronics environments.
• Knowledge of ICT, Boundary Scan, Functional Testing, and ATE.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• Experience with Six Sigma tools and process capability analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance test software, test hardware, and application tools for assigned programs.
• Design, develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing test solutions including ICT, BLP, and EOL Functional Test.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings and MSD workshops to define test strategy and deliverables.
• Enforce proper requirements management for the assigned test process.
• Define, standardize, and implement test equipment, hardware configurations, and test methodologies.
• Lead test coverage analysis and drive design changes to improve coverage early in design.
• Utilize Six Sigma for test statistical analysis to optimize CPK performance.
• Plan and track procurement of test equipment, tooling, and fixtures to support schedules.
• Prepare comprehensive test documentation and provide training to Operations Support.
